Meg Jenkins is a speaker, writer, and creator of living InJoy Master Class. Known for candid storytelling and practical frameworks, she helps audiences transform adversity into agency—centering graditude to joy, joy to peace, and peace to purpose.

A South Carolina native, Meg Jenkins was educated at Agnes Scott College, in Decatur, Georgia. She began her career as a high school teacher and coach.
Her Hilton Head High School Tennis Team won a state championship in 1986.
Married with three children, Meg Jenkins was a community activist, professional volunteer, and worked to progressively develop Hickory, NC. Meg Jenkins founded Carolina Moon Hospitality in 2005.
Beginning her career over thirty years ago, Meg Jenkins lifelong love of family, food, and relationships culminated with the opening of Hickory, NC's premier farm-to-table restaurant, Highland Avenue, and the premier events venue The Crossing, in the spring of 2013. These catalyst projects led to the redevelopment of a large area of Hickory through Boost Hickory and a $40M Bond Project.
Following these successful ventures, Meg Jenkins then moved on to the health care industry leading the team as a Founder and Chief Engagement Officer at Legacy Health & Wellness, MedSpa.
With a soaring imagination as a community developer and entrepreneur, Meg Jenkins’ unrealized ambition has always been to write, develop, and produce. And thus, Carolina Moon Creative and Meg Jenkins was born.
Her production company is her latest endeavor; a third act in her storied career. Meg Jenkins sees her writing, workshops & retreats and her short & feature film work as one more way to serve her thriving communities.
Through my own journey and years of walking alongside others, I've discovered what truly helps people heal and find their way back to joy and meaning.
I share from my own lived experience of loss and transformation. This isn't theoretical - it's the real, messy, beautiful work of rebuilding a life after it's been shattered.
I combine the hard-won wisdom of my own journey with insights from others who've walked this path, creating approaches that honor the complexity of healing and purpose.
I offer tools and practices that I've tested in my own life and seen work for others - gentle, sustainable approaches that meet you where you are.
I believe deeply that healing is possible, that joy can return, and that our greatest wounds can become our greatest gifts. This hope isn't naive - it's earned.
"I won't tell you to 'get over it' or 'move on.' I won't rush your process or minimize your pain. What I will do is walk alongside you with the deep knowing that healing is possible, that joy can return, and that your story - all of it, including the painful parts - has meaning and purpose. I've been where you are, and I've found my way through. Not around, not over, but through. And I believe with all my heart that you can too."
Transformational speaker helping individuals navigate loss and rediscover joy through compassionate, evidence-based healing.
